Our story
One family, one oven, since 1970
In 1970 Nino Mazzola, a mason who had helped build the World Trade Center, bought a small pizzeria in Midland Park. Nino made the pies out front while his wife Anna waited tables and ran the kitchen. That was Brothers Pizza.
Their son Anthony grew up at that oven and learned his mother’s Sicilian cooking: simple dishes, quality ingredients. His brother-in-law Roberto Mannino, born and raised in Sicily, brought the Sicilian-style pie. In 2012 the family opened Pizzaiolo by Brothers, a rustic farmhouse dining room with brick-lined ovens.
Many of Anna’s recipes haven’t changed in over 50 years. Neither has the welcome.
